Chinese American Society for Mass Spectrometry (CASMS)

CASMS is a non-profit organization that was formed by Chinese ASMS attendees in 1980 at New York City. The primary goal of CASMS is to promote academic and social interaction among Chinese mass spectrometrists worldwide. CASMS currently has more than 1000 members. While CASMS members are mainly Chinese scientists in North America, all mass spectrometrists around the world are welcome to join the society. 

CASMS Mission

CASMS shall serve its members, communities of mass spectrometry and the public by:

(a) educating the public and advancing public knowledge in the development and application of mass spectrometry and its related technology in all fields;

(b) promoting the advancement of mass spectrometry and its related application aspects;

(c) facilitating communication among mass spectrometrists and any individual or group who is interested in mass spectrometry and its related fields;

(d) providing a forum for the exchange and dissemination of technical or non-technical knowledge and information in the mass spectrometry and its related fields

Profs. Lingjun Li and Ying Ge Named to the Top 100 Analytical Scientist’s Power List
Dr. Lingjun Li, Vilas Distinguished Achievement Professor of Pharmaceutical Science and Chemistry, University of Wisconsin-Madison and Dr. Ying Ge, Professor of Cell and Regenerative Biology, and Chemistry, Director of Human Proteomics Program, University of Wisconsin-Madison, were selected to be on the 2021 Analytical Scientist’s Power List. The Power List showcases the tremendous range of talent, ingenuity and leadership present across all corners of analytical science on a global scale, by highlighting the pioneering work and passion of 100 leaders in the field.
